Today, a delegation of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption headed by the director Mr. Yll Buleshkaj visited the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interest (ILDKPKI).
The Kosovar delegation was received by the General Inspector, Mrs. Evgeni Bashari and her associates.
The delegations exchanged experiences regarding the declaration and control of assets as well as the practices of dealing with cases of suspected conflict of interest. Some of the common challenges identified in the meeting were the verification of assets held abroad as well as the publication of decisions on the topic of conflict of interest in the exercise of official duties.
Inspector General, Mrs. Bashari and Director Mr. Buleshkaj, agreed to update the memorandum of inter-institutional cooperation and explore the possibilities for joint activities with the aim of preventing corruption and promoting ethical behavior by public officials.
